Formula in plain English

The calculator adds the entered monthly platform fee, cloud accounts times entered monthly cost per cloud account, and monitored resources times entered monthly cost per resource to produce monthly licensing cost. Implementation cost equals the entered one-time implementation amount. First-year cost multiplies monthly licensing by 12 and adds implementation cost once. recommendedBudget is a deprecated alias equal to first-year cost and is not a recommendation; budgetPercentage is a deprecated compatibility field fixed at zero and is not a calculated budget share.

Visible assumptions

• Cloud account count, monitored resource count, monthly platform fee, per-account amount, per-resource amount, and implementation amount all describe one documented user-entered scope.
• Cloud provider and vendor selectors are neutral presentation fields with multiplier 1; they do not change the arithmetic or supply vendor-specific pricing.
